The plaque is inside the church. His wife Cecilia, named Cisley on the gravestone, is buried outside the church, close to the altar.

Vicar of Edenhall and 39 Years Rector of this Parish,
He died on the 28th August 1801, leaving one Son and 5 Daughters.
He was married first to MARGARET, the Daughter of
Christopher Wilson Esqr of Bardsea Hall in the County of Lancaster.
She died on the 27th Day of Octr 1765, leaving four Daughters
and was buried at Urswick.
Secondly to CECILIA, the Daughter of Thomas Hawkshead, Esqr
of Heskin in the said County
by whom he had one Son and one Daughter
His only son JOHN BALDWIN ESQR died in Milan in Italy
on the 25th of August 1818 and was buried at that place.
The above named CECILIA BALDWIN died on the 15th Day of April 1820
and was buried in the Church Yard near this place
I found this picture on the family tree mentioned below. It is entitled Portrait of the Reverend Dr Roger Baldwin, Rector of Aldingham, 1780 (d.1801) and identified as eighteenth century British School.
Roger Baldwin D.D., F.R.S. was a member of the Society of Antiquaries in 1776. I assume that the F.A.S. on the tablet means Fellow of the Antiquarian Society.
According to a family tree on Ancestry, Roger Baldwin was born on 4 November 1718 in Wigan. Some dates below are from this family tree, others from Lancashire Parish Clerk online.
His will can be found on Ancestry. It is very long, but clearly Rev. Baldwin was a wealthy man, with land-holdings at Wigan, and the wherewithal to leave his children bequests of several thousand pounds. Prerogative Court of Canterbury Wills 1384-1858. Probate was granted 19 October 1801.
Roger Balldwin (sic) was christened on 19 November 1718 at All Saints, Wigan, the son of William Balldwin.
He married Margaret Wilson (born 1730) at Urswick on 22 February or April 1762. (Both dates are on Ancestry). April is the likely date, since a Bond regarding the marriage is dated April. Two of the daughters were Christophera (sic) (1762 – 1848) and Sarah (1764 – 1818; baptised 28 Jan 1765). Two more, Margaret & Elizabeth, were baptised on 3 February 1764. I cannot find them on Ancestry, or on Lancashire Parish Clerk online. Perhaps they died as children.
An obituary in the Gentleman’s magazine, 1839, says that Christophora married Sir Robert Clayton in 1786, but they had no children. Their Marriage Bond can be found on Ancestry, as can her will and burial details in Wigan. Sarah married Henry Richmond Gale, of Bardsey (sic) Hall on 9 November 1785 (Burke’s Family Records on Ancestry).
His second marriage was to Cicely Hankshead or Haukshead (sic) in Wigan on 24 July 1770. The document says “both of this town.” Their children were John, baptised at Aldingham 6 October 1771, and Cecilia, born 2 November 1772, baptised 6 December 1772. This Cecilia married James Losh, Recorder of Newcastle. (See separate sheet).

Fellow, 1743. F.R.S. 1760. F.S.A. Practised as a physician, first at Cambridge and afterwards at Wigan. P.C. of Ellenbrook, Lancs., 1746-7. R. of Aldingham, 1760-1801.
