St Cuthbert's, Aldingham
A squat and sturdy church on the edge of Morecambe Bay, close to the imposing Victorian Aldingham Hall, St. Cuthbert's has Norman origins - perhaps earlier - which can be seen in the pillars and arches of the south aisle. There are interesting monuments both inside and outside the church, and one 300 metres away in the left-hand hedge on the coast road towards Barrow.
