Thomas Trevethan
This gravestone is clearly written, but the script chosen is difficult to make out. My photograph made it appear that the person interred was Thomas Trencthon, but I found no reference to such a name on Ancestry. A search in the Archives revealed reference to Thomas Trevethan, which proved more fruitful.

aged 47 years.
It is unusual to see deceased used as a verb in this way.
Thomas Treveathan (sic) was baptized at Kenwyn, Cornwall, on 26 April 1807. His parents were Philip and Johanna Treveathan (sic).
1851 Census
In the 1851 Census, the Trevethan family were living at Bankin (Bank End?) Cottage, Kirkby in Furness. The household consisted of Thomas Trevethan (43) Head, Mineral Agent at Slate Works, born Kenwyn, Cornwall; Elizabeth Trevethan (43) Wife, born Bolton-le-Moors, Lancs; Thomas Trevethan (17) Son, Scholar, born Key? (Kea?), Cornwall; Jemima Trevethan (15) Scholar, Daughter, born Kenwyn; Mary Trevethan (13) Daughter, Scholar, born Kenwyn; William I Trevethan (11) Son, Scholar, born Key/Kea?; Richard Trevethan (9) Son, Scholar, born Key/Kea; Mary Ewebank (22) House Servant, born Kirkby Ireleth.
1855 Slater’s Directory for Lancashire
Thomas Trevethan appears in the 1855 Slater’s Directory for Lancashire, Broughton-in-Furness district, as Agent to the Burlington Slate Works.
Elizabeth must have been Thomas Trevethan’s second wife. Thomas Trevethan, of full age, widower, Mineral Agent (father Philip Trevethan, also a Mineral Agent) married Elizabeth Fell, of full age, Spinster, (father Christopher Fell) of Little Bolton, in Bolton-le-Moors parish church on 21 July 1849.
1861 Census
After Thomas’ death, Elizabeth went back to live with her mother, Betty Fell (78), Widow, Landed Proprietor, born Ince, Lancashire, and brother William Fell (48) Unmarried, no occupation recorded, born Bolton; at 238 Folds Road, Little Bolton, where she is in the 1861 Census. Her baptism date was 8 April 1807, at Bolton-le-Moors parish church. Elizabeth died in 1883, and was buried in Christ Church, Walmsley, Lancs on 3 April.

A Thomas Trenthan (sic) had married Jemima Hodge at Kenwyn, Cornwall, on 19 May 1829.
1841 Census
In the 1841 Census Thomas Trevethan (30) was a Copper Miner living in Chasewater in the Parish of Kea, Cornwall. His wife was Jemima Trevethan (30) [Ages were rounded for adults in the 1841 Census], along with Thomas Trevethan (8); Jemima Trevethan (6), Mary Trevethan (4) and William Trevethan (2).
