Not my most successful piece of research. I am sure that there is more to be found about Mr. & Mrs. Richardson.
Buried at CROISILLES BRITISH CEMETERY CWGC
He is buried very close to Serjeant I. S. Shaw from Sykehouse, Broughton in Furness.
His death could have been in the Battle of Amiens, which finally saw the breaking of the German lines and led to the end of the war.

I wondered if Private Richardson had been posted to Barrow with the Welsh Guards to protect the Docks, met a local girl, and married her. However, it appears that they married in Sunderland in the first quarter of 1914, so she was most likely from the north-east. Perhaps he had been working for Vickers before the war.

On Ancestry I found John Thomas Richardson, born Sunderland 1895; enlisted Barrow; served in the Welsh Guards, died 25 August 1918. His widow seems to be Elizabeth J. Richardson. With little success following J. T. Richardson beyond some uninformative military records, I found that in the 1939 Register, living at 49 Vengeance Street, Walney, were Elizabeth J. Richardson (DoB 27 November 1895), widow, Unpaid Domestic Duties; Stanley Richardson (DoB 31 January 1917), single, Ship Joiner; and Elizabeth J. Richardson (DoB 16 December 1918), single, Turbine Blader. The younger Elizabeth Richardson’s surname is crossed out, and GRAHAM 17 4 44 written above it, suggesting that she married Mr. (William J. –from Cumbria BMD) Graham on 17 April 1944.
